Surfing the net I just read your note "SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT": AN OXYMORON?" I really appreciated your pointing to the problem and to the fact that more clarity is needed on 'development'. What has been labeled as 'development' for more than fifty years, in reality was 'envelopment', a process of annexation, incorporation, wrapping up (like with an envelope). A globalization of a local experience in the West turned other societies in 'trailer societies' dragged not towards their own destiny but towards the destiny and teleology of Western civilization, a process that is reaching its dead end.
The new development/envelopment paradigm opens up promising practical paths of analysis and action as you can see in the attachment, that succinctly explains why it is even worse that an oxymoron. "Development is sustainable by definition, otherwise it is not development. Therefore, sustainable development is a sheer pleonasm..."
