<P>Funny as it may sound, Latin America is growing older.
Population explotion in here it is a thing of the past
already. Many countries in the region have reached the
replacement level. My point is the following:

<P>1. It is quite different to talk of zero growth than
to sugest extinction. For zero growth you require 2
and fraction kids for couples. That quite truth if you
consider that not all couples have kids, that there
are quite a lot of homosexuals, people that died of
accidents without reproducing, non-fertile people,
etc. The replacement number is around 2.3 kids for
couple I believe. But if no one in a population have
kids then this one will follow the extinction path.

<P>2. Population growth rates varies between continents.
Today the only region that is out of control is
Africa. There is where your organization should put
your efforts. But try do it and you will be acussed of
racist.

<P>3. We latins do not want to crowd the world with our
people. We just want to survive ourserves. As the
matter of fact we fill quite sorry that the northern
people have decided to stop having children. That is
against family values and against the variety of
people in the world.

<P>4. If you "gringo" disapear the planet will be poorer
in genetic variety. Besides, all your traditions will
be gone: your ideas, your sense of humor, your
creativity, your sports. Each people in the world have
the right to live in this planet preserving the
richness of the ancestors. Besides no one has the
right to suicide.

<P>5. "Gringo" means in Spanish just Germanic. For us
latins, the germanic people of North America and
Europe are closest relatives. We know your history. It
is a real viking "saga" that start from barbarian
clash with the romans to the times of the anglosaxon
empires (british empire, US) taking the world lead. We
know you because we have compite with you people since
the roman and spanish empires. And we, particularly,
will be very sorry that the most important tribe of
the Western World would just disapear for.. let me say
crearly: egoism.

<P>Just get a wife and have kids. That is the way that it
is supposed to be. That goes with the laws of nature,
with God, the destiny, or whatever religious or
cosmologic idea you have. Millions of years of
tradition and ten of thousand of generations of people
can not be wrong. But the chain of life breaks in the
weaker generation.
